Download the APK

If you get a message such as “File can’t be downloaded securely” or “File might be harmful”, just choose Keep or Download anyway to proceed.

Note: APK files downloaded outside the Google Play Store may trigger this warning, but the file itself is safe.

Enable Unknown Sources (If Necessary)

On newer Android versions (8.0+):

  1. Go to Settings → Apps & notifications
  2. Tap Advanced → Special app access → Install unknown apps
  3. Select the browser (e.g. Chrome) that you used to download the APK
  4. Toggle Allow from this source to ON

On older Android versions:

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Enable Unknown Sources

Install the APK

  1. Find the downloaded APK in your Downloads folder or notification panel
  2. Tap on the file to begin installation
  3. Review permissions and tap Install
  4. Wait for installation to complete

Open the App

Once installed, you can open the Consumer app from your home screen or app drawer.
